The unit dealt with several incredibly sensitive topics and Cat was able to handle these very well and remained supportive of students who did not wish to discuss some of the content
She even went beyond guiding her own seminar groups by adopting students from other seminar groups who’s essay topics linked to her research.
Cat made students feel welcomed and supported whilst encouraging them to develop their ideas.
