We’ve got three new posts from our Student Fellows this week:

Oops I forgot to get informed consent – Tasha Suresh, BILT Student Fellow, has shared another entertaining blog for anyone undertaking research, as part of the student-focused Ethics series.

Boosting sustainability at Uni: the new Sustainability Champions  – Carlos Shanka Boissy Diaz, has written about the SU’s new Sustainability Champions project.

The Price of Support – Kai Charles, working on the ‘Experiences of Disabled Students’ project, has shared her experience of starting university and the barriers it brought when it came to getting support.

Hybrid Teaching Resources

We’ve highlighted a number of new hybrid teaching resources in our Case Studies spotlight area, including two video case studies and a ‘Running hybrid sessions: advice from academics‘ post.

Do you want to be interviewed about sustainable development?

Carlos Shanka, a Student Fellow at BILT, is currently running a mini-series of interviews with staff and students at the University of Bristol. He wants to highlight and share good and improvable practices, opinions, and those efforts that people are putting towards embedding sustainable development in the curriculum.

Decolonising the curriculum seminar series

We’re collaborating with the Centre for Black Humanities, UNESCO and Bristol Conversations in Education to deliver a seminar series on decolonising the curriculum. The seminars range in focus and will be delivered from academics across the University. The first seminar will take place online on 27th Jan, 1-2:30pm (last 30 mins is for discussion).
